Back in January the Italian low fare train TrenOK temporarily suspended its €9 route connecting Rome to Milan.

It hasn't reappeared, so it looks, regrettably, like that route will be permanently out of service.

Sadly, it looks like TrenOK stopped operating some time during August 2007. It doesn't appear as if Trenitalia is operating any other low cost domestic train services at this time.
