|
|
Italian intercity bus operator Sena is currently offering some appealing low fares on its website.
It's not clear whether this is just a temporary promotion or whether this is a trial period which will evolve into a permanent new tariff structure.
According to the fare rules:
| Quote: | 1. The tickets can be reserved and bought at the same time only on the web site www.sena.it;
2. The new low cost offer is valid from 1/10/2007 to 31/12/2007 with the exclusion of the Christmas and Easter holidays; for one year you can find 99.000 low cost seats; |
The routes are as follows:
Rome <=> Siena - EUR 5
Milan <=> Siena - EUR 5
Milan <=> Florence - EUR 5
Bologna <=> Siena - EUR 5
Rome <=> Bologna - EUR 10
Rome <=> Milan - EUR 10
That looks like the best intercity fare between Rome and Milan since TrenOK suspended its low cost EUR 9 rail service between the two cities in January 2007. _________________ Alan Lansdowne
