easyBus now operates between Luton Airport and London Central (Baker Street / Gloucester Place).

Hendon Central is no longer served.

They have ceased operating the service to Milton Keynes.

Please can you update the information about easyBus on the attitude travel website.

easyBus offers a low cost high frequency express minibus service linking London Central (Baker Street/ Gloucester Place) and Luton Airports services operate to Luton Airport from 04.00 to 22.10 and from Luton Airport from 07.10 to 00.20.

Starting from £2 one-way, the fare varies according to demand and operates on the well known easy principle of "the earlier you book, the less you pay". Peak periods and times are likely to cost more than less popular periods. The price includes carriage of one medium sized suitcase (or similar) and one piece of hand luggage, customers wishing to take additional suitcases book and pay for an additional seat as space for the luggage.

Customers reserve and pay for their seats in advance through the easyBus website (www.easyBus.co.uk) though customers who wish to turn up and go can pay the driver providing there ares eats still available. Paying the driver at the last minute will be more expensive than booking online in advance.

We have discontinued the service to Milton Keynes and switched the London terminus from Hendon Central to London Central (Baker Street / Gloucester Place).

Thank you.

Regards

Thanks for the nudge, David - I hadn't forgotten you.

All references to Hendon Central on attitude Travel have now been replaced with Baker Street / Gloucester Place (it took a while for me to grab a moment to make the update but better late than never!).

Also, mention of the former Milton Keynes route has now been deleted from the site.

I have a fledgling project to replace the old-style UK low cost bus guides with new UK InterCity low cost guides with information on both low cost train and bus fares (see the work-in-progress Bristol Low Cost Train and Bus Connections resource).

I look forward to hearing from you about any new developments on easyBus.

Thanks for that. Better late than never Smile

We plan to start STN - LON this Spring (probably the very end of April
or early May) and LGW - LON this autumn (no timeframe yet).

These routes will be easyBus as opposed to franchisee routes. We have not made any progress with franchisees - the level of commitment and investment appears to be a significant barrier. Companies with sufficient resources have other priorities and small companies who have the ambition dont have the resources.

I will update you as and when the plans come to fruition.

The new easyBus service from central London to Stansted Airport will commence on June 7th, with over 40 services each way per day between the easyBus stop at Baker Street/Gloucester Place and Stansted.

The lowest fares will start from £2 one-way.

That fare includes one medium sized piece of baggage and one piece of hand luggage. Travellers carrying additional baggage will be asked to book and pay for additional seat space, as required.
